In Tuesday's league test, the Myrtle Point Bobcats (Myrtle Point, OR) basketball squad trounced the visiting Illinois Valley Cougars (Cave Junction, OR), by a final score of 57-35.
Next, the Bobcats clash with the Oakland Oakers (Oakland, OR) in a 2A Sunset test, on Friday, February 14. Myrtle Point will attempt to upgrade on its 18-5 season record. The Oakers come into the test with a 15-12 record after their 63-27 league win over Gold Beach (Gold Beach, OR).
The Cougars (8-14) will now prepare for their test against Reedsport (Reedsport, OR). The come into the 2A Sunset test with a 2-19 record. In their last test, Reedsport was overwhelmed by Bandon (Bandon, OR), 67-14, in a league test.
