The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Prairie View Buffalos (La Cygne, KS) and the visiting Iola Mustangs (Iola, KS), observed Prairie View's basketball team edge Iola by a score of 45-44.

The Buffalos (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Burlington (Burlington, KS). The Wildcats come into the Pioneer challenge with a 10-6 record. In their last challenge, Burlington was tipped by Wellsville (Wellsville, KS), 35-32, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Osawatomie Trojans (Osawatomie, KS) in a Pioneer challenge, on Tuesday, February 18. Iola will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record.
