The Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL) basketball were winner over the visiting Romeoville Spartans (Romeoville, IL), 62-50 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Steelmen now possess a 15-16 record.

With the loss, Romeoville falls to 7-21 on the campaign. The Spartans host Thornwood (South Holland, IL) to play the Thunderbirds in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 15. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a record of 4-25. Thornwood lost 57-33 in their recent non-league bout against Proviso East (Maywood, IL)
