The Lincoln-Way East Griffins (Frankfort, IL) basketball edged the host Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL), 41-35 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Griffins now possess a 19-12 record.
With the loss, Lincoln-Way Central falls to 10-20 on the campaign. The Knights travel to St. Laurence (Burbank, IL) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 13. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 12-18. St. Laurence won 35-32 in their recent non-league bout against Fenwick (Oak Park, IL)
