Washburn Rural Blues (Topeka, KS) supporters went home pleased Tuesday as they observed their basketball team overwhelm the visiting Manhattan Indians (Manhattan, KS), 58-28 in a league challenge.

The Blues (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Junction City/St. Xavier (Junction City, KS). The Bluejays come into the non-league challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Junction City/St. Xavier was routed by Hayden (Topeka, KS), 61-14, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Indians encounter the Topeka Trojans (Topeka, KS) in a Centennial challenge, on Friday, February 14. Manhattan will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 55-49 league loss to Hayden (Topeka, KS).
