The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the South Lyon East Cougars (South Lyon, MI) and the visiting Walled Lake Central Vikings (Walled Lake, MI), observed South Lyon East's basketball team overwhelm Walled Lake Central by a margin of 60-33.

The Cougars (9-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI). The Warriors come into the Lakes Valley challenge with a 2-16 record. In their last challenge, Walled Lake Western was trounced by Kettering (Waterford, MI), 51-13, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the St. Catherine of Siena Academy Athletes (Wixom, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 17. Walled Lake Central will attempt to better on its 1-17 season record.
