The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the St. Agnes Academy Tigers (Houston, TX) and the host St. John XXIII Lions (Katy, TX), observed St. Agnes Academy's basketball team edge St. John XXIII by a score of 41-34.
The Tigers (19-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Savio (Austin, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 23-14 record. In their last challenge, Savio was tipped by St. Michael's (Austin, TX), 36-34, in a league bout.
With the loss, St. John XXIII falls to 5-14 on the campaign.
