In Tuesday's league contest, the host Las Plumas Thunderbirds basketball team scored a good 29-19 triumph over the Corning Cardinals.
The Thunderbirds (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Orland (Orland, CA). The Trojans go into the contest with a 13-7 record. In their last contest, Orland topped Corning (Corning, CA), 53-27, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Cardinals confront the West Valley Eagles (Cottonwood, CA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 13. Corning will attempt to better on its 1-14 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 17-2 record after their 51-18 non-league win over Las Plumas (Oroville, CA).
