Washingtonville Wizards (Washingtonville, NY) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Goshen Central Gladiators (Goshen, NY), 46-30 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Washingtonville advances its record to 6-6 on the year. The Wizards travel to Monticello (Monticello, NY) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Wednesday, February 19. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 0-7.
The Gladiators now own a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Minisink Valley for a non-league match on Thursday, February 13. Goshen Central will face a Warriors squad coming off a 38-9 non-league loss to Onteora (Boiceville, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 2-12.
