The Creekview Mustangs soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Newman Smith Trojans to 1 in the Mustangs league victory on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now hold a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Highland Park for a 5A Region 2 District 12 bout on Friday, February 14. Creekview will play a Scots squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Reedy (Frisco, TX). The Scots record now stands at 11-2.

With the loss, Newman Smith moves to 1-11 on the year. The Trojans travel to Lone Star (Frisco, TX) to play the Rangers in a 5A Region 2 District 12 bout on Friday, February 14. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 8-2. Lone Star won 2-0 in their recent league bout against The Colony (The Colony, TX)
