In Tuesday's league contest, the host Greenwich Cardinals ice hockey team scored a close 3-2 victory over the St. Joseph Cadets.

The Cardinals (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Darien (Darien, CT). The Blue Wave go into the FCIAC contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Darien was nipped by Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cadets play the Xavier Falcons (Middletown, CT) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 15. St. Joseph will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record. The Falcons go into the contest with a 4-11 record after their 8-4 non-league loss to Northwest Catholic (West Hartford, CT).
