In Tuesday's league test, the Ascend Leadership Aviators (Sanford, NC) basketball squad defeated the host Triangle Math & Science Tigers (Apex, NC), by a final score of 41-26.
Next, the Aviators clash with the Chatham Charter Knights (Siler City, NC) in a test, on Thursday, February 13. Ascend Leadership will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 5-12 record after their 39-37 league loss to Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC).
The Tigers (8-7) will now prepare for their test against Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC). The Grizzlies come into the test with a 4-10 record. In their last test, Clover Garden School went down by Triangle Math & Science (Apex, NC), 45-20, in a non-league test.
