The Bertie Falcons basketball team scored 71 points and limited the host Perquimans Pirates to 47 in the Falcons league triumph on Tuesday.

The Falcons now have a 14-3 record. They play next when they host Washington County for a game on Friday, February 14. Bertie will confront a Panthers team coming off a 44-39 non-league win over North East Carolina Prep (Tarboro, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, Perquimans falls to 7-9 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Martin County (Williamston, NC) to confront the Gators in a game on Friday, February 14. The Gators go into the game with a record of 12-6. Martin County won 56-36 in their recent league game against Washington County (Plymouth, NC)
