The South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC) basketball edged the host Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC), 52-49 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Jack Britt for a bout on Friday, February 14. South View will play a Buccaneers team coming off a 53-49 non-league win over Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 4-11.

With the loss, Cape Fear falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Colts travel to Lumberton (Lumberton, NC) to play the Pirates in a bout on Thursday, February 13. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 16-2. Lumberton lost 51-32 in their recent league bout against Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC)
