California High School Basketball - Steele Canyon routs El Capitan

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Steele Canyon Cougars basketball team scored a big 65-41 triumph over the El Capitan Vaqueros.
The Cougars (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Helix (La Mesa, CA). The Highlanders go into the contest with a 15-5 record. In their last contest, Helix smashed Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA), 69-44, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Vaqueros battle the Mount Miguel Matadors (Spring Valley, CA) in a contest, on Friday, February 14. El Capitan will attempt to better on its 6-18 season record. The Matadors go into the contest with a 18-4 record after their 59-57 league loss to Helix (La Mesa, CA).
