In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Jack Britt Buccaneers basketball team scored a close 53-49 win over the Gray's Creek Bears.
The Buccaneers (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against South View (Hope Mills, NC). The Tigers come into the contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, South View edged Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC), 52-49, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bears battle the Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC) in a contest, on Friday, February 14. Gray's Creek will attempt to better on its 5-12 season record. The Colts come into the contest with a 8-9 record after their 54-51 league loss to Lumberton (Lumberton, NC).
