Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC), 54-45 in a league match.

With the victory, Hoke County advances its record to 12-5 on the year.

The Patriots now own a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union Pines for a match on Friday, February 14. Pinecrest will face a Vikings squad coming off a 45-39 non-league loss to Southern Lee (Sanford, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 4-12.
