In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Lake Norman Wildcats basketball team scored a good 51-32 triumph over the South Iredell Vikings.

The Wildcats (14-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC). The Blue Devils go into the contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Mooresville was topped by A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC), 64-60, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) in a contest, on Friday, February 14. South Iredell will attempt to better on its 9-11 season record. The Chargers go into the contest with a 7-8 record after their 51-50 non-league loss to Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC).
