In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Sexton Big Reds basketball team scored a close 56-50 triumph over the Lakewood Vikings.

The Big Reds (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Ionia (Ionia, MI). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 0-3 record.

In their next game, the Vikings confront the Lansing Catholic Cougars (Lansing, MI) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 14. Lakewood will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record.
