The Southern Lee Cavaliers basketball team scored 45 points and limited the host Union Pines Vikings to 39 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cavaliers now have a 15-5 record. They play next when they host Lee County for a non-league game on Friday, February 14. Southern Lee will confront a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 66-63 non-league loss to Scotland (Laurinburg, NC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 1-11.

With the loss, Union Pines falls to 4-12 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC) to confront the Patriots in a game on Friday, February 14. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 14-7. Pinecrest lost 54-45 in their recent league game against Hoke County (Raeford, NC)
