In Tuesday's league outing, the host Bastrop Bears soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Anderson Trojans.
The Bears (11-0) will now prepare for their outing against McCallum (Austin, TX). The Knights come into the 5A Region 3 District 24 match with a 6-0 record. In their last match, McCallum nipped Cedar Creek (Cedar Creek, TX), 4-0, in a league match.
The Trojans now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Navarro for a 5A Region 3 District 24 match on Friday, February 14. Anderson will meet a Vikings team coming off a 1-1 league Crockett (Austin, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 2-3.
