The Boswell Pioneers soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Weatherford Kangaroos to 1 in the Pioneers league victory on Tuesday.
The Pioneers now hold a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Ridge for a 6A Region 1 District 3 bout on Friday, February 14. Boswell will play a Eagles squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Mansfield Legacy (Mansfield, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 7-4.
With the loss, Weatherford moves to 4-9 on the year. The Kangaroos host Mansfield (Mansfield, TX) to play the Tigers in a 6A Region 1 District 3 bout on Friday, February 14. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Mansfield 0-0 in their recent league bout against North Crowley (Fort Worth, TX)
