In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Columbus Cardinals soccer squad scored a nice 14-0 win over the Wharton Tigers.

The Cardinals (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against Hallettsville (Hallettsville, TX). The Brahmas enter the 4A Region 3 District 22 outing with a 0-7 record. In their last outing, Hallettsville was overwhelmed by Calhoun (Port Lavaca, TX), 9-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Tigers confront the Palacios Sharks (Palacios, TX) in a 4A Region 3 District 22 outing, on Friday, February 14. Wharton will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Sharks enter the outing with a 2-8 record after their 7-0 league loss to Bay City (Bay City, TX).
