In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting Monterey Plainsmen soccer squad scored a tight 4-0 win over the Coronado Mustangs.

The Plainsmen (11-0) will now prepare for their outing against Plainview (Plainview, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 5A Region 1 District 3 outing with a 1-9 record. In their last outing, Plainview by Tascosa (Amarillo, TX), 2-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Amarillo Sandies (Amarillo, TX) in a 5A Region 1 District 3 outing, on Saturday, February 15. Coronado will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Sandies enter the outing with a 4-6 record after their 1-1 league Palo Duro (Amarillo, TX).
