Flour Bluff Hornets (Corpus Christi, TX) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Corpus Christi Moody Trojans (Corpus Christi, TX), 21-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, Flour Bluff upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Hornets host Weslaco (Weslaco, TX) to play the Panthers in a non-league game on Thursday, February 13. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 1-0. Weslaco won 11-10 in their recent non-league game against Santa Gertrudis Academy (Kingsville, TX)

The Trojans now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Los Fresnos for a non-league game on Thursday, February 13. Corpus Christi Moody will play a Falcons squad coming off a 12-1 non-league win over La Joya (La Joya, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 1-0.
