In Tuesday's non-league test, the Lumberton Panthers (Lumberton, MS) softball squad overwhelmed the host Our Lady Academy Crescents (Bay St. Louis, MS), by a tally of 20-7.
Next, the Panthers clash with the Moss Point Tigers (Moss Point, MS) in a non-league test, on Thursday, February 13. Lumberton will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 0-1 record after their 15-1 non-league loss to Gautier (Gautier, MS).
The Crescents (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Gautier (Gautier, MS). The Gators go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Gautier was routed by Biloxi (Biloxi, MS), 16-0, in a non-league test.
