The Laconia Sachems (Laconia, NH) basketball nipped the visiting Merrimack Valley The Pride (Penacook, NH), 44-40 in Saturday's league test.
The Sachems (14-4) will now prepare for their test against Hanover (Hanover, NH). The Marauders go into the non-league test with a 19-0 record. In their last test, Hanover got by Kennett (Conway, NH), 63-38, in a non-league test.
The The Pride now own a 15-3 record.
