In Saturday's league test, the host Thornton Academy Trojans ice hockey team scored a tight 5-2 win over the Biddeford Tigers.

The Trojans (9-3) will now prepare for their test against Lake Region (Naples, ME). The Lakers enter the Class A test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, Lake Region by Leavitt (Turner, ME), 4-3, in a non-league test.

Next up, the Tigers encounter the Portland Bulldogs (Portland, ME) in a Class A test, on Thursday, February 17. Biddeford will attempt to advance on its 2-8 season record. The Bulldogs enter the test with a 3-8 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Sacopee Valley (Cornish, ME).
