The Camden Catholic Fighting Irish basketball team (Cherry Hill, NJ), was nudged 36-33 in Sunday's non-league battle with the host Cherokee Chiefs (Marlton, NJ)
The Chiefs now possess a 21-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Haddon Heights for a non-league battle on Monday, February 13. Cherokee will confront a Garnets team coming off a 52-47 league win over West Deptford (Westville, NJ). The Garnets record now stands at 10-11.
The Fighting Irish (14-10) will now prepare for their battle against Sterling (Somerdale, NJ). The Silver Knights come into the non-league battle with a 19-5 record. In their last battle, Sterling edged Palmyra (Palmyra, NJ), 50-19, in a non-league battle.
