Centennial Eagles (Ellicott City, MD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Howard Lions (Ellicott City, MD), 72-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Centennial upgrades its record to 11-9 on the season. The Eagles host River Hill (Clarksville, MD) to play the Hawks in a Howard County bout on Wednesday, February 14. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 18-2. River Hill won 72-66 in their recent league bout against Long Reach (Columbia, MD)

Next up, the Lions play the Wilde Lake Wildecats (Columbia, MD) in a Howard County bout, on Wednesday, February 14. Howard will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record. The Wildecats go into the bout with a 9-12 record after their 66-59 league loss to Atholton (Columbia, MD).
