In Monday's league outing, the Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Chaparral Lobos (Chaparral, NM), by a count of 72-49.
The Fighting Colts (14-8) will now prepare for their outing against Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM). The Desert Warriors go into the 4A District 3 outing with a 11-11 record. In their last outing, Santa Teresa smashed Deming (Deming, NM), 60-43, in a league outing.
The Lobos now hold a 8-15 record. They play next when they host Deming for a 4A District 3 outing on Thursday, February 15. Chaparral will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 60-43 league loss to Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-21.
