North Carolina High School Basketball - Jordan-Matthews nudges Cummings

In Monday's league outing, the Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC) basketball squad edged the visiting Cummings Cavaliers (Burlington, NC), by a count of 69-67.

The Jets (11-10) will now prepare for their outing against Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC). The Hawks go into the 1A/2A Mid-Carolina outing with a 8-14 record. In their last outing, Seaforth was tipped by Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC), 76-65, in a league outing.

The Cavaliers now hold a 11-8 record. They play next when they travel to North Moore for a 1A/2A Mid-Carolina outing on Tuesday, February 13. Cummings will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 62-59 league loss to Graham (Graham, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-14.
