The Sports & Medical Sciences Academy Tigers (Hartford, CT) basketball crushed the visiting East Granby Crusaders (East Granby, CT), 64-25 in Monday's league test.

The Tigers (15-3) will now prepare for their test against Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT). The Highlanders go into the non-league test with a 14-5 record. In their last test, Northwestern Regional was trounced by Pomperaug (Southbury, CT), 52-50, in a non-league test.

The Crusaders now own a 6-11 record. They play next when they host Bulkeley for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 14.
