Gilman City Hawks (Gilman City, MO) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Winston Red Birds (Winston, MO), 68-66 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Gilman City upgrades its record to 8-10 on the season. The Hawks travel to Mercer (Mercer, MO) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 10-8. Mercer lost 57-42 in their recent league bout against Grundy County/Newtown-Harris (Galt, MO)

Next up, the Red Birds clash with the Cainsville Redmen (Cainsville, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Winston will attempt to upgrade on its 10-13 season record.
