The Groton-Dunstable Crusaders (Groton, MA) basketball felled the host Oakmont Regional Spartans (Ashburnham, MA), 47-31 in Monday's non-league test.
The Crusaders (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Lunenburg (Lunenburg, MA). The Blue Knights go into the non-league test with a 11-5 record. In their last test, Lunenburg thwarted Hudson (Hudson, MA), 54-50, in a non-league test.
The Spartans now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Clinton for a Midland-Wachusett C test on Thursday, February 15. Oakmont Regional will encounter a Gaels squad coming off a 67-51 non-league win over North Middlesex Regional (Townsend, MA). The Gaels record now stands at 15-2.
