The Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA) basketball crushed the visiting William Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA), 79-43 in Monday's league test.
The Vikings (21-3) will now prepare for their test against Fleming (Roanoke, VA). The Colonels go into the Blue Ridge test with a 17-5 record. In their last test, Fleming walloped Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA), 65-35, in a league test.
The Terriers now own a 12-12 record. They play next when they host Magna Vista for a non-league test on Friday, February 16. William Byrd will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 55-46 league loss to George Washington (Danville, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 7-16.
