Waverly Warriors (Lansing, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Okemos Wolves (Okemos, MI), 69-65 in a league bout.

With the win, Waverly upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Warriors travel to Grand Ledge (Grand Ledge, MI) to play the Comets in a Capital Area - Blue bout on Friday, February 16. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 8-11. Grand Ledge lost 61-37 in their recent non-league bout against Mason (Mason, MI)

Next up, the Wolves play the Holt Rams (Holt, MI) in a Capital Area - Blue bout, on Friday, February 16. Okemos will attempt to upgrade on its 16-3 season record.
