The Reading Memorial Rockets (Reading, MA) basketball felled the visiting Somerville Highlanders (Somerville, MA), 52-33 in Monday's non-league test.
The Rockets (12-6) will now prepare for their test against Woburn Memorial (Woburn, MA). The Tanners go into the Middlesex test with a 1-17 record. In their last bout, Woburn Memorial was topped by Arlington (Arlington, MA), 69-48, in a league bout.
Next up, the Highlanders clash with the Northeast Metro RVT Knights (Wakefield, MA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 16. Somerville will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 63-57 league loss to Innovation Academy (Tyngsborough, MA).
