Richford Falcons (Richford, VT) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Stowe Raiders (Stowe, VT), 58-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Richford upgrades its record to 16-4 on the season. The Falcons travel to Craftsbury Academy (Craftsbury Common, VT) to play the Chargers in a Central Vermont bout on Wednesday, February 14. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 3-14. Craftsbury Academy lost 52-50 in their recent non-league bout against Sharon Academy (Sharon, VT)

Next up, the Raiders play the Blue Mountain Bucks (Wells River, VT) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, February 14. Stowe will attempt to move on its 5-12 season record. The Bucks enter the game with a 8-10 record after their 69-27 non-league loss to Woodsville (Woodsville, NH).
