Vermont High School Basketball - Poultney can't hold off Arlington Memorial

The Arlington Memorial Eagles basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Poultney Blue Devils to 37 in the Eagles league triumph on Monday.
The Eagles now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. St. Joseph Academy for a Marble Valley - D contest on Thursday, February 15. Arlington Memorial will battle a Green Wave team coming off a 62-36 league loss to Proctor (Proctor, VT). The Green Wave record now stands at 9-9.
The Blue Devils (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Mill River (North Clarendon, VT). The Minutemen enter the Marble Valley - B contest with a 4-13 record. In their last contest, Mill River nudged Sharon Academy (Sharon, VT), 35-28, in a league contest.
