Cascade Cougars (Turner, OR) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting North Marion Huskies (Aurora, OR), 50-27 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cascade upgrades its record to 14-7 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Newport (Newport, OR) to play the Cubs in a 4A Oregon West bout on Thursday, February 15. The Cubs come into the bout with a record of 4-15.

Next up, the Huskies play the Sweet Home Huskies (Sweet Home, OR) in a 4A Oregon West bout, on Thursday, February 15. North Marion will attempt to upgrade on its 9-13 season record. The Huskies come into the bout with a 1-17 record after their 64-22 league loss to Philomath (Philomath, OR).
