Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Chatham Cougars (Chatham, NJ) and the visiting Sparta Spartans (Sparta, NJ), saw Chatham's basketball squad wallop Sparta by a count of 54-23.

With the victory, Chatham upgrades its record to 22-2 on the campaign.

Next up, the Spartans play the West Morris Mendham Minutemen (Mendham, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - National challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Sparta will attempt to upgrade on its 8-16 season record.
