Christ Covenant Spartan (Winterville, NC) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting New Bern Christian Academy (New Bern, NC), 48-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Christ Covenant upgrades its record to 19-2 on the season. The Spartan host Trinity Christian (Greenville, NC) to clash with the Tigers in a Mid-Atlantic Christian - 2A North bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 14-11. Trinity Christian won 48-44 in their recent league bout against Faith Christian Academy (Goldsboro, NC)

Next up, the clash with the Trinity Christian Tigers (Greenville, NC) in a Mid-Atlantic Christian - 2A North bout, on Thursday, February 15. New Bern Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 17-8 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 14-12 record after their 45-33 league loss to Christ Covenant (Winterville, NC).
