The Rogers Vikings basketball team scored 27 points and restricted the host Classical Purple to 23 in the Vikings league victory on Monday.

The Vikings now sport a 2-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Mary Academy-Bay View for a Division 1 contest on Wednesday, February 14. Rogers will battle a Bengals team coming off a 54-42 league loss to Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI). The Bengals record now stands at 13-5.

The Purple (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI). The Saints come into the Division 1 contest with a 2-15 record. In their last contest, St. Raphael Academy was nudged by North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI), 70-29, in a league contest.
