Clio Mustangs (Clio, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Kearsley Hornets (Flint, MI), 49-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Clio upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Owosso (Owosso, MI) to clash with the Trojans in a Flint Metro bout on Friday, February 16. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 8-9. Owosso lost 39-37 in their recent non-league bout against Fowlerville (Fowlerville, MI)

Next up, the Hornets clash with the Holly Bronchos (Holly, MI) in a Flint Metro bout, on Friday, February 16. Kearsley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Bronchos go into the bout with a 1-17 record after their 32-27 non-league loss to Birch Run (Birch Run, MI).
