The Fike Demons basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Smithfield-Selma Spartans to 4 in the Demons league victory on Monday.

The Demons now sport a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southern Wayne for a 3A Quad County contest on Tuesday, February 13. Fike will battle a Saints team coming off a 52-17 league win over Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC). The Saints record now stands at 9-13.

The Spartans (0-20) will now prepare for their contest against C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC). The Golden Falcons come into the 3A Quad County contest with a 10-12 record. In their last contest, C.B. Aycock triumphed over West Johnston (Benson, NC), 42-26, in a league contest.
