In Monday's league outing, the White River Valley Wildcats (Royalton, VT) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Green Mountain Chieftains (Chester, VT), by a count of 73-41.

The Wildcats (12-6) will now prepare for their outing against Leland & Gray (Townshend, VT). The Rebels go into the Marble Valley - C outing with a 9-9 record. In their last outing, Leland & Gray was crushed by Bellows Falls (Bellows Falls, VT), 43-35, in a league outing.

The Chieftains now hold a 3-14 record. They play next when they host Woodstock for a Marble Valley - C outing on Thursday, February 15. Green Mountain will clash with a Wasps squad coming off a 48-30 league loss to Rivendell Academy (Orford, NH). The Wasps record now stands at 3-14.
