Knott County Central Patriots (Hindman, KY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lawrence County Bulldogs (Louisa, KY), 43-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Knott County Central upgrades its record to 17-9 on the season. The Patriots host Leslie County (Hyden, KY) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 14-11. Leslie County won 60-50 in their recent non-league bout against Floyd Central (Eastern, KY)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Shelby Valley Wildcats (Pikeville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Lawrence County will attempt to upgrade on its 15-9 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 17-7 record after their 51-35 non-league win over Phelps (Phelps, KY).
