Sullivan County Griffins (Laporte, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Montgomery Red Raiders (Montgomery, PA), 32-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Sullivan County upgrades its record to 5-14 on the season. The Griffins host Wyalusing Valley (Wyalusing, PA) to clash with the Rams in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 14. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 7-8.

Next up, the Red Raiders clash with the Columbia Montour Vo-Tech Rams (Bloomsburg, PA) in a Mid-Penn - D4 bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Montgomery will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 0-20 record after their 60-17 league loss to Bucktail (Farwell, PA).
