Queen Anne's County Lions (Centreville, MD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting North Caroline Bulldogs (Ridgely, MD), 49-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Queen Anne's County upgrades its record to 15-2 on the season. The Lions host Kent Island (Stevensville, MD) to play the Buccaneers in a Bayside - North bout on Thursday, February 15. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 17-4. Kent Island won 61-39 in their recent non-league bout against Kent County (Worton, MD)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the North Dorchester Eagles (Hurlock, MD) in a Bayside - North bout, on Tuesday, February 13. North Caroline will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 0-14 record after their 41-29 non-league loss to Snow Hill (Snow Hill, MD).
